Truwear launched the "GIVE 20 GET 20" campaign to provide consumers with a 20% discount and distribute 20% of each sale to charity organizations, hoping that the virus crisis will soon pass.
Orem, UT (Merxwire) - Truwear, a premium menswear brand, recently announced the launch of a "Give 20 Get 20" campaign to help foundations that are fighting the epidemic on the front lines. Truwear hopes to help many people survive the crisis and welcome a healthier and better world.
Throughout April, Truwear customers receive a 20% discount on purchases, and Truwear will evenly distribute 20% of each sale to the following important organizations: The World Central Kitchen, Feeding America, Heart to Heart International, COVID- 19 Response Fund, and the American Red Cross. Consumers can use the code GIVE20GET20 to get discounts and provide assistance to these charities.
In a remarkably sincere letter to consumers, Truwear CEO, Joseph Hawes lays out his feelings, concerns, and the hope he has for the future.
Hello All,
Things have certainly gotten crazy fast. And honestly, I think a lot of us are wondering how this is all going to end. I have zero answers, but I just wanted to get some of my own thoughts down.
There's so much going on right now that feels uncertain; the news is filled with dark images and scary statistics. And most of us are worried, scared, and anxious about the future.
As a father, I'm worried about my children's health, education, and overall well-being. But I'm spending more time with them, enjoying them more, and really appreciating the happy moments I have.
As a husband I'm worried about providing for my family, trying to keep some semblance of normal, and somehow protecting them from this crazy pandemic. But I'm also talking to my wife more and trying to spend more quality time with her. I feel our relationship is getting even stronger as we try to figure all of this out together. And my extended family, which is spread all over the country, is texting and chatting more. We're probably closer now than we have been in a long time.
As a business owner I'm overwhelmed by the dire economic implications all of this is having on the world. It's uncertain and the ramifications are far-reaching. I've never seen anything like this in my life. But what I do know, what I have faith in, is the unconquerable spirit we, as a people, have. There are good things happening all around us. Even in these dark uncertain times people are reaching out, serving, and finding the good. Something I've found myself quoting often is "Real strength has to do with helping others" (Mr. Rogers).
So, I want to help. Somehow, we have to get through this together. The World Central Kitchen, Feeding America, Heart to Heart International, COVID-19 Response Fund, and the American Red Cross are all on the frontlines of this pandemic and in desperate need of funding. We all need to contribute, so Truwearis offering a 20% discount on all purchases and will equally distribute 20% of every sale to these worthy organizations throughout the entire month of April. Our month long "Give 20 Get 20" campaign will help support these valuable charities during this time of crisis. Simply use the codeGIVE20GET20 at checkout.
Do what you can, where you can. And please, stay safe and stay healthy. I know we can bridge this divide together.
Sincerely,
Joseph Hawes
