CRH Healthcare acquired ChoiceOne Urgent Care, successfully entered the Maryland market with Calvert Health, and jointly operated three centers to provide immediate emergency care needs for patients in the region.
Atlanta, MD (Merxwire) - CRH Healthcare (CRH), an emergency care center operator in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, provides high-quality, instant services and has recently acquired ChoiceOne Urgent Care's interest in the Calvert Health System (CHS) joint venture.УТ Established a year ago by ChoiceOne Urgent Care and CHS, the joint venture operates three emergency care centers in Calvert County, Maryland. The three centers have established a leadership position in the community and have experienced providers and support staff providing immediate emergency care needs to patients in the area.
Staff at each center has been retained, and CRH will carry out its mission "to provide the perfect experience for patients." Since ChoiceOne partnered with Calvert Health System in early 2019, most current employees have demonstrated that their clinical and operational skills are satisfactory Responding to patient needs and driving improved performance throughout 2019.
Bill Miller, CRH Healthcare's CEO, said, "We are excited to have the opportunity to work with the ChoiceOne Urgent Care team in all three centers. Their success in a short period of time creates a great base of operations for CRH to begin growing in Maryland."
CRH will continue to partner with CHS to better serve the Calvert County community. УТ This partnership allows ChoiceOne of Calvert and CHS to provide better coordinated care for patients. Additionally, since all the centers are open from 8AM to 8PM every day, they provide a more cost effective alternative to the emergency room for lower acuity diagnoses like the flu and colds, sprains, and lacerations to name a few. The centers also support CHS's primary care physicians with after hours and weekend coverage when patients cannot wait. "Our top priority is the health care of our patients," said CalvertHealth President and CEO Dean Teague. УТ "The partnership with CRH will be seamless for our patients and will provide the care when and where our patients need it. УТ We are delighted to have CRH Healthcare as a partner."
Finally, since CRH purchased only three of the ChoiceOne Urgent Care centers in Maryland, it plans to rebrand the centers later this year. This will be a branding change only and will not change the Mission of the centers or the partnership with CHS.
